Essential Duties

-Coordinate registered student organizations
-Provide training and educational resources to officers and advisors of registered student organizations
-Coordinate involvement initiatives such as involvement and service fairs
-Oversee student community service projects and develop annual programming budget for service
-Responsible for training and supervising the community service intern
-Work with campus and community stakeholders to plan & implement community service events
-Serve as primary point person for fall Welcome Week activities which includes selection and training of Welcome Week volunteers
-Coordinate diversity programming
-Organize international student orientation for fall and spring semesters
-Maintain wide knowledge base of government regulations regarding all matters relating to F-1 students
-Coordinate transportation as needed
-Coordinate university admissions process for international students
-Assist with other division activities such as orientation, recruitment, etc.
-Assist Director of Student Life with office activities
-Other duties as assigned
-Provides documentation that students are in good standing at MUW
-Assists students in complying with government regulations concerning status, immigration, visas, passports, permission to work, related work and serve as Designated
School Official (DSO)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in student personnel, higher education, or related field preferred. Requires more than 1 year of experience. Some
experience in student life or student affairs preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Computer skills and strong human relations and
communication skills (speaking and writing) are essential. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
